You need to stand out for girls to want to talk to you. Make sure you smile and act confident.
Try wearing something unique that will make it easy to start a conversation with you... Think Mardi Gras beads or have something flashy. Bring a camera and start taking pictures, you can then use that to get her attention.
Don't act to over the top, but act like you're somebody that she would want to talk to...
